I just turn 30 and I still have no idea what it means to work smarter. I started a company from scratch in 2003 with a partner (funded by Visa and Master Card - a.k.a. personal credit card funded startup) and right now we are operating on the ground in 5 countries (50 people in total)

Sometimes I feel guilty because I keep hearing about work smarter and all the tips and advices on how to do it. So far for me work is about working 7 days a week with breaks here and there.

I started in Chicago and right now I live in Cairo working out in one of our branch for the past two years. My assumption was that once I leave the higher pace life in Chicago I would be able to figure this work smarter thing in a slower pace Cairo, Egypt.

    Wrong.
I find myself getting busier and hectic as ever. I do enjoy doing all of these but I still haven't seen the way to work smarter.
